GOOGLE's G1

Google has introduced a new phone called the G1. It is set to rival Apple's iPhone. It runs the Android operating system fully coded by google experts. It is made by HTC mobiles of Japan and sold in the US by T-mobile for $179. Besides the touchpad, it also has an integrated keyboard. It supports all of google's online applications with excellent flexibility. (you need a google account to use this phone!). But it is a bit costly for its price. It is 30% heavier and thicker than the iPhone, it has just 1gb of mem card, all that for $179, but an iPhone with 8gb internal mem is $199.

Higgs boson or the god particle.

A few things that i would like to share with u people..this is the latest activity at CERN..they are trying to find about this particle..
The God Particle is said to have given mass to all that exists today. This particle existed about 10 to 11 seconds after the formation of the universe, constituting a field called the Higgs Field. The amount of time a particle reacted with it, the more massive it got. The idea of such a particle was suggested by Peter Higgs, a British physicist. This elusive particle is what is going to unravel the mysteries of the properties of matter. CERN's LHC will be ripping apart protons, recreating the initial conditions of the universe, in search of the elusive GOD PARTICLE.

blogging after a week........

its been a very hectic schedule n so could not blog much. it was exams!!! so had dig through my stuff n find the books n had to go through them.. it was like studyin greek n latin but somehow managed to finished them..then our paper got selected at SRM university n so had to come to chennai for the same. we had the presentation today, we could not win the event though..will be leaving to tanjore tomorrow night.
my college is bustling with activities.. the intra-mural cul fest called carpedium plus sports meet called coloseum have been scheduled this weekend.and from the info i got from my friends, it seems they are rocking.

Google Chrome!!

Just now downloaded the all new GOOGLE CHROME and its simply great...the new and best feature that i found in chrome was that it automatically completes the URL you are looking for....i tried some very less popular sites and it was successful to a certain extent.it even takes very less memory compared to Fire fox,plus its open source. The looks are also great!!!!!

dhaam dhoom n vinayaka chaturthi at chennai!!!

its been long since i blogged..its all because of sastra's power problems..because of the frequent and unscheduled power-cuts, many problems have arose, first being no wi-fi. also the lab sessions getting affected in our coll.Due to the power-cuts, even availability of water has become scarce..
with vinayaka chaturthi being a holiday we got a open permission for three days n so back to chennai..lol..
regarding the paper presentation,it went on well but sadly we could not do a podium finish..
but learned a lot,had a good experience n got to make a lot of friends..
sakshama our symposium's poster got ready n has been put up eveywhere in the coll.
grand parents are at home n today morning there was pooja.. had loads of goodies prepared by mom..yesterday had been to dhaam dhoom, good movie can watch it once..songs simply rock!!!
