hey!!! me back to sastra on monday after the pune trip..
had loads of fun..back here life is normal only thing is exams are approaching n its like full syllabus exam.gotta work hard :-) best part is that weather is really awesome n its been raining here.
also cycles are being given in sastra for all students n staff.
the event was a major success with around 200 people participating in various events.
it went on smooth n by the end of the day, turned out to be a grand success.dean was in full praise n said he was expecting an even bigger sakshama '09. best part the organizers got an standing ovation.

i just managed to get the permission for 8 days from sastra management to go to pune.. its my uncle's house warming ceremony plus a long time re union of all the cousins. reached chennai today morning n gotta catch a train to pune today night. me n dad will be traveling as mom n sis have already reached pune. me gonna surely have a blast. lol

on 2 October Mr.kalam visited our college as part of the University's 25 years celebrations n also Gandhi jayanthi celebrations.
a very large pandal was erected n around 3000 students n 1000 staff were present for his lecture.
he spread his message of vision 20-20. also talked about various topics related to science n how students can help in research. he wanted the colleges n students to focus more on research along with the academics. his speech was really inspiring.
