Gloss session on Open High Availability Cluster(OHAC)

gloss is the open source club at ma collage,SASTRA..
we had a inagural session for this academic year on 30 june,and along with that a talk on clusters..i just had a basic idea about it but after attending the session i could get a clear picture of it.the session had a great start by a vidoe being played.then abhishek atarted off from the basics and explained a whole lot.
There would be a heavy loss of data and currency when we have a crash in servers or say, when a disaster strikes.

Actually clusters are two or more systems that execute a applications given to them.In case of a failure to one cluster, the other cluster tolerates and gives a fail safe execution for the application.
so the loss of data can be minimised!!!
the session was really useful n informative.
