Higgs boson or the god particle.

A few things that i would like to share with u people..this is the latest activity at CERN..they are trying to find about this particle..
The God Particle is said to have given mass to all that exists today. This particle existed about 10 to 11 seconds after the formation of the universe, constituting a field called the Higgs Field. The amount of time a particle reacted with it, the more massive it got. The idea of such a particle was suggested by Peter Higgs, a British physicist. This elusive particle is what is going to unravel the mysteries of the properties of matter. CERN's LHC will be ripping apart protons, recreating the initial conditions of the universe, in search of the elusive GOD PARTICLE.
